Professor Gong Yingyan holds a Ph.D. in Chinese History, focusing primarily on the history of Sino-foreign relations, the history of cartography, and Zhejiang local history and culture. He has served as a visiting scholar at Yale University, Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. Currently, he is dedicated to researching ancient Chinese maps and cultural relics kept in foreign collections.
